Danny Lee is an award winning nature and wildlife photographer based in Monterey California, USA. Danny's interest in wildlife began in 2010 when he relocated from the small farming community of Gonzales to the coastal town of Marina, where one foggy evening at home Danny nearly lost his beloved cat when a Great Horned Owl attempted to snatch the young kitten from the edge of his balcony. Fortunately for Danny the cat was able to evade the talons of the large raptor, and a burning passion for wildlife was born.

In 2022 Danny shelved his other hobbies in order to focus on photography. During this time he honed in his craft of delivering striking images of wildlife in and around the Central coast of California, to showcase to the world. 

Danny's wildlife Images can be described as dramatic animal portraiture, with an emphasis of natural habitat. 

In 2025 Danny expanded on his photography by including landscape and drone photography to his collection of pieces.
